What's Happened to ACC Football this year?

Clemson is clearly solid but the rest of the league is far worse than most publications and experts expected. Miami looks ok but Va Tech and Boston College look far overrated. Florida State continues to look average at best. Clemson (no fault of their own as schedules are made years in advance) may not play another ranked team in the regular season. This will equate to a cake walk to the College Football Playoffs. I do think they are deserving but when you look at the road that the other schools in contention will have to take to get to the playoffs it will certainly be a tougher road for the rest of the Top 5 teams. This is one of the many reasons that I would like to see an 8 team playoff. Clemson has been and will continue to be the cream of the crop in the ACC as their recruiting and coaching will exceed the rest of the league unless the Canes and Seminoles can level the playing field.
JMO...ACC as a whole is very weak this year.
