I think if a team gets a lead in the 1H, it's hard for them to keep the lead in the 2H because the other team is more motivated and changed their defense. The teams leading in the 1H probably don't bother changing their offense or defense because they think they are doing well. Also, this is a neutral court so it's harder to keep the lead.
