Smile 4 recommended plays that look to go at least 3-1

Souh Alabama at Western Kentucky

Western Kentucky has been the class of the Sun Belt all season with 15-3 (10-8 ATS) record and is playing their best basketball The Hilltoppers are a rugged group and have contributed to 13-4 ATS mark on neutral floors.

South Alabama might only be the six-seed, but have excellent bloodlines for this event.South Alabama is five-time Sun Belt tourney champ, the last three years ago.

Western Kentucky is four-point pick, having won and covered both matchups earlier this season. The Hilltoppers are 5-2 ATS in last seven as favorites, while USA is 0-7 ATS after allowing 60 or less points.

recommend:W Kentucky-4

Oakland at N Dakota St

This is a matchup of top-seeded North Dakota State and No.3 Oakland U. The Bison of North Dakota State returned four seniors and they led their squad to 25-6 record. Guard Ben Woodside is excellent scorer and dishes out assists. They don’t make many mistakes and Brett Winkleman is top inside player. NDSU averages 81.3 points per game and makes almost half their shot attempts (49.2 percent).

Oakland was the preseason choice to win the Summit and is on nine game winning streak. Oakland played the harder non-conference schedule, facing teams like Kansas State and Syracuse and is a four point underdog.

The teams split a pair of games this season, each winning at home.

With an NCAA Tournament bid on the line, I see both teams coming out tentative and playing in the sense not to lose. This is NDST's first game in the limelight, so they'll want to impress but also be weary of not coming out flat. Oakland has been here before, so I think they'll begin the game as the aggressor. However as a whole I see this one staying in the low 70s and going under the posted total.

recommend N Dakota St-4 & under 152

Idaho St at Portland St

Idaho State is 4-1 ATS in its last 5 games
Idaho State is 6-1 SU in its last 7 games
Idaho State is 2-6 ATS in its last 8 games when playing Portland State
Idaho State is 1-7 SU in its last 8 games when playing Portland State

Portland State is 4-1 SU in its last 5 games

Portland State is 6-2 ATS in its last 8 games when playing Idaho State
Portland State is 7-1 SU in its last 8 games when playing Idaho State

With all the extra rest and being the better team this is a game that easily favors Portland St as they get everyone involved in the offense.

recommend:Portland St-4

like the NDSU -4 pick and the under, but I'm tight on championship games going under because of these games magically go into OT sometimes, anyways GL

well mallers,so far 2-1 with W Kentucky to go.If it covers it would be 3-1 as i felt.Sorry about N Dakota side play, only winning by 2,it hurt that they trailed through out the game. The main write-up on that game was on the total which covered easily, but felt that N Dakota would cover by at least 5 to win.So that being said, lets go Hilltopers!!
