#8 in the nation??
Ok I'm a stanford fan, I want them to win more than anybody but please #8 in the nation. I just don't see it. I think the Pac-10 is way overrated to start, I think it's UCLA and a bunch of scrubs. Yes, Stanford may be the best of the scrubs... but since when is that good for #8 in the nation??

I think the Pac-10 is overrated as well. Stanford has struggled lately and we'll see what they can do in the tourney.

well see thats the thing, I think they will find a way to beat Wash St. as well because they're overrated too. They'll get a 2 or 3 seed and lose in the second round it's such a tired story, seen it too many times.

All you have to do to beat this team is pressure the ball. Full court pressure and heavy pressure on the ball in the half court, just harass their guards and you have an easy win.
Maybe no one in the Pac-10 can do it...but in the tourney I expect it to happen.

Yeah we've had this discussion before
I've watched them closely during college and after graduation, and this year I'm worried the tournament will be a rude awakening. I think they get this 8 spot right now mainly because of so much rank jumping this year by the entire NCAA. Anyone who wants to win just has to hack the hell out of the good and bad Lopez twins to put them at the line. That way Stanford only harnesses about 50-60% of the points they probably should have from them. It's pathetic.
That being said, they're a really pretty team when firing on cylinders.
