Ahhh, college basketball is back
Season opens tonight, always great to have options in the form of College Basketball.
Pitt -11.5 is returning a great starting line-up. Always like guard play when looking at teams, and Pitt is very strong with Gibbs, Brown, and Wanamaker. Pitt is normally very tough at home, get after it defensively, and own the boards.
Rhode Island was playing well in the NIT last year, and i have a feeling they struggle coming out of the gates on the road this year. They have 2 guys in their rotation who are not playing, one injured and one focusing on academics. They also have 2 7-footers on their team. One of them will be playing his first game since a sprained ankle kept him out of practice the last 2 weeks.
Lots of big lines early on, and not my favorite plays, but have the need to play one out the gate.
Good luck to all those with action tonight.
