any thoughts on Arkansas/South Alabama?

Just wondering if anyone knows much about this game..Just cause my eye because I saw Arkansas at +4 at South Alabama. Any thoughts on this.. especially since in teasers I can get them at like +10-12.

Tread lightly on this one. Arkansas likely at the bottom of the SEC this year, already losing to Missouri State, who'll likely finish at the bottom of the MVC this year. Arkansas loses six seniors and returns only one starter who average about 5 points last year. South Alabama, a tourney team three years running, returns three starters to the SBC coach of the year. Also, South Alabama 2-0 as the home team and Arkansas 0-1 on the road. I like South in this one (even though they did lose by 18 to Ole Miss, who's just above Arkansas in the SEC West).. The only thing going for Arkansas is Clarke, a great freshman and really strong shooter. If he can carry Arkansas they have a chance..

Arkansas head coach John Pelphrey returns to South I believe for the first time tonight...

Pelphrey left South Alabama for the Arkansas job after winning the Sun Belt title following the 2006-07 season.

South is pretty dominant SU at home...not playing it one way or another but the 4 point spread makes pretty good sense to me. If I had to I'd take the Jags as the short favs.
