Someone on TV said yesterday that west coast teams playing east coast day games were 1-9, make it 1-10 after UCLA got thumped yesterday.

Good point but they have been on East Coast time for about 5 days now so they should have adjusted. ASU was the better PAC 10 team this year, handling UCLA twice in the regular season. Plus, UCLA got a raw deal playing Nova on their home turf which won't be an advanatge for either ASU or Cuse today in Florida.

This is a tough one to call with the Orange having the size advantage inside and on the boards. The Sun Devils obviously have Harden (who will need to play significantly better than he did in round 1) but more importantly will employ their trademark 3-2 mtachup zone defence which could give Cuse trouble.

Looking forward to wathcing this one. Do you lean either way UVA?

i think asu's style of play allows them to adapt more to the unfamiliar 9am start time than does UCLA, asu is very patient and takes high percentage shots, which is why they are one of the most efficient teams in the country offensively

I have ASU in my bracket so I think they will win

I think they've adjusted to "east coast time" by now, been there a week.

takes long then a week to adjust when you've spent the last year on the west coast, took me a few months to fully adapt to est from cst when i moved

Arizona State blew a big lead against USC in the Pac 10 final, and did not look good against Temple. Everyone says that USC is the hot team, but so is Syracuse. I like the Orange here at a cheap price.

True, but I know a bad line when I see one, and this was obviously a very poor line, just like 'Nova yesterday, laying so few points at home against UCLA, another Pac 10 team that stumbled down the stretch and barely beat an 11 seed. You do not have to know a lot about hoops here. You just have to know how to read and have some common sense when it comes to wagering. I guess I was proven right, huh?
