Does illinois have anything to play for? I am thinking that Penn State will knock off the Illini like Northwestern did Purdue last night. Thoughts appreciated

illinois may want to redeem themselves from one of the worst performances since the shot clock began to be used

Something else that scares me is Penn State beat Illinois in Champaign. I was thinking Illinois will be out for revenge.

.....

I'm not sure about this game......Both teams are trying to improve Big Ten tourney seeds as well as their chances in the NCAA, mainly Penn State. Penn State lacks consistency on both sides of the ball. Illinois, even though they show the same thing, is more experienced in the coaching department for these situations. I can't really pick either team here but I'd lean Illinois just for the
"experience" factor.

The Illini can sew up the #2 seed for the Big Ten Tourney next week, which keeps them away from MSU until the finals. Also, they have to gain some momentum/confidence after the tough home loss last Sunday to MSU for the Conf & NCAA Tourney, not to mention the revenge from last month!

ILLINI by half a dozen!
