Hey guys,

I currently do my action with Bodog, but am looking to try out a new site. Any recommendations?

Thanks,

Gotta agree with Jack. BJ and Bookmaker both very solid! I have accounts with those and Greek as well.

I've been with Bookmaker for 10-12 years, back in the BetCris days. Used to have the free sportspager, which was awesome. Tons of incentives, easy to rack up large free plays and other stuff with them. Have always gotten a payout within a week.

I tend to keep money in bodog just because of their lines. If you like playing dogs, bodog is the place to go.

my advice is to use 3 or 4 different books, a 1/2 point here and there that you can get with more options will be the difference in winning or losing several wagers over the course of a year

Obviously, you'd like to have more than one book to shop the best lines. I currently only have one book and it's with sportsinteraction.com. I'm looking to use another site, too, for several reasons. In my experience, Sportsinteraction NEVER posts ANY lines early and they especially suck for totals in college basketball. On Saturdays, they won't post totals for games sometimes until right about an hour before tip off. I know this can happen with some individual games at any book, but in the morning, they'll have the totals for the 11AM games and that's it. Then around 10:30 or 10:45AM, they'll post the 12PM game totals and nothing else. You have to keep waiting for the next group of games which completely blows if there's a game total you really like, but you've got to leave the house or won't have access to the internet while out. I called to complain and they said that's just the way their handicappers decided to do it. Payouts aren't too quick either. I'd keep several books if I had that kind of bankroll. Sorry I don't have a site to recommend, but at least I can tell you who I wouldn't choose.

Good luck!

BODOG has treated me well for sure. Payouts are quick. Only thing is they don't give many "freebies" to thier customers. Gotta love that check though

Sports interaction is a good book to have if you've got a few - Like you said, there are many negatives - one positive though, is sometimes they have some great dog lines, I've gotten lines sometimes 2 points better there than I can find at any of my other books.

Sportsbook.com is easy and generic for deposting. BoDog is horrible in my opinion b/c they only allow 1/2 point buying. If a line falls on an even number you cannot adust. I emailed them and they said they were a "recreational site". On Betjam now and it's easy and good.
