I thought he was signed thru 2015 or 2016. Cant remember if I seen it on TV or read it.

I also think I seen he is paid 400-450K.

So my answers are very soon (by next season) and ye$.

Think he sticks around another year, has the same team coming back. They make another deep run next year though and he will take a bigger job...hard to turn down the increase that he would be looking at.

yeah, he has Hayward, Mack, Howard coming back so that is a good core to build around for sure.

guy is going to make some money very soon though!!! ( not that $500K is not nice )

I don't think he will leave after this year. I know the Clemson job just came open but don't see him taking that one. It looks like he gets most of his starters back next season so he might be able to make another deep run.

I could see the guy staying there for another 4-5 years.

Brad Stevens just received a phone call from Todd Lickliter and it went something like this:

"Don't leave your program for money. Iowa was a terrible experiment gone bad, and now I have no coaching job. Stay with the program and build a dynasty in the Horizon league. "

I think he'll stick one more year with that core coming back, but he won't be there much longer than that. You just have to take what's best for your family in the long run, and schools like Oregon are poised to throw 2-3M at him, while Butler will never be able to get him to a million per.

Hopefully Butler throws some cash at him and he stays and keeps building Butler's program.

not to takeaway what this guy has done, but did he inherit most of the nucleus of the current team?

its anybodys guess but he may or may not have similar success at a diff school

sometimes coaches are just meant for a certain type of school

I wouldnt be surprised if money isnt his biggest motivating factor

he quit a 6 figure job to coach for free 10 years ago
