Buy 1/2 points? yes or NO.

do you normally buy 1/2 points to get down to an even number? ie
buy from 2-1/2 down to 2 (-120)
Or go with the 1/2 point lines. ex 1-1/2. 2-1/2 (-110)
Some of these lines are so tight that the 1/2 point makes the difference between losing, pushing or winning. BUt is it worth it for the extra juice.

Thanks in advance

i personally like to buy the .5 point on all lines. i feel like i have been screwed too many times on those .5 pointers. SUCKS ...

interested to see rome's data too though if he has anything major.

-bsg

added: like rome said below, usually when they OFFER to let you buy points, it isnt gonna help you lol. but i just cant take that .5 point loss!

buying off of 7 is really all that matters in baskets and might be worth it

you must know that whatever it costs is usually higher than the frequency it helps

The 1/2 might cost you 2-3 games a year, but paying the extra juice to on LOSING plays, if you play a high volume of games, will ultimately cost you more over the course of a season, IMO..........
