Cal St Fullerton & LSU
On the mind monday of Tigers first-year coach Trent Johnson was a looming opponent, Cal State Fullerton, which is a step up in class from LSU's first five opponents, with a one-day turnaround. "It's the right time in terms of our progression, our schedule has worked out for the most part," Johnson said. "They have a level of toughness you appreciate. They're not going to beat themselves. Fullerton will be making the trip to Baton Rouge after playing in Anaheim over the weekend & will be playing their fourth game in six days. Fullerton avgs 35.7 pph & allows 34.6 pph, while the Tigers avg 40.2 pph & allows 26 pph on a cupcake schedule. After the Titans score 80 or more points and hit the road the next game they are 12-1 against the first half line.
