Cat's Plays of the Day- Thursday BIG ASS PLAY

Havent been on this season so take it for what its worth. 2-1 last two nights so I have a little hope getting closer to March. One on the card that I absolutely love. The last one I absolutely loved like this was Mizzou St against Illinois St and I lost that one by a half point. Oh well, I have to play them like I see em.


Florida Atlantic(+2.5) BIG ASS PLAY
I usually never play these on a road team but I cant see any way FAU doesnt win this game. FAU is a very young team that has grown up big time this season. Their top 2 players are freshman and have really stepped up lately. One of the freshman Raymond Taylor is 2nd in conference in assists and they have been way up his past 7 games. FAU has won 5 of 6 since losing at home to South Bama by 3 points in OT. Their only loss was at Western KY. So Bama has had some injuries and have no depth right now. FAU goes balls deep with guards and they have been hitting lately from 3 point range. In that 6 game span, they are averaging about 9 threes a game. So Bama has dropped 5 of 6 since beating FAU in OT. Their last game at Denver they got ran off the floor and gave up 14 threes. The coach said this about Denver game, "We don't have manpower to do some of the things we were generally doing earlier in the year," said USA coach Ronnie Arrow. "You can't let those shooters get hot because they will pick you apart." With how FAU is playing, I see the same thing. Dont let the road game scare you, FAU is coming off a win at Mid Tenn St in their last road game and that is a tough place to win. South Bama has no home court advantage anymore as they have dropped 4 of their last 6 at home. SoBama has covered verses FAU the last 5 games, guess what? That stops today. FAU was only favored by 1.5 at home when they lost to South Bama, now South Bama is only favored by 2.5 at home? Injuries or not, that line is too low. I think the odds makers already know that FAU is going to win this game. FAU is one of the hottest teams in the conference and South Bama probably one of the coldest. I like FAU to win this game kind of easy. The added bonus is Jack will be tailgating for this game starting at noon. You tune in and you might see him streak in his Cappersmall thong.
