Cats Plays of the Tourney - 1st Round
I have been MIA lately folks. I have been really busy at work and had to move a couple weeks ago so I feel like I am out of the loop. But what better time to come back than the best time of the year.
I usually find one team in the first round that is a lock as an underdog to cover and every now and then they win SU. Last year was the first time in awhile I lost one of these games because North Dakota St choked to lose by a half point. Getting back this year with a team I have been watching all season and they find themselves in a perfect situation. Oakland (+10) HUGE PLAY Look for the upset straight up. I have Oakland moving on in my bracket but I will for sure take these 10 points as a gift. They have everything that is needed for a Cinderella story. They have veteran leadership led by a senior PG who likes to control the game. They have inside presence that can keep up with Pitt. But last but not least, they can hit FTs when it comes down to it. Their best player and big man inside, Benson, averages 73% from the FT line and I expect him to get there often. They had some bad losses early in the season but they have only lost once this year. In a conference with IUPUI and Oral Roberts, that is very impressive. Look for the Golden Grizzlies to be dancing onto the next round. Utah St(+3) BEST BET I just cant see anyway that the Aggies dont win this game. Give em hell folks -Cat
