Conf. Tournaments on neutral courts...

How hard would it be to have EVERY conference tournament on a neutral court? I realize Butler will probably win the Horizon tournament, but I don't think it's fair that all these teams have to travel to Hinkle and try to make the NCAA tournament while playing through someone's home court.

Would it be that hard to make all conference tournaments go to an arena which doesn't give home court advantage to a certain team in the tourney? This has always bothered me a bit I guess....I like how the Big Ten has gone back and forth from Chicago to Indianapolis.

Any opinions on this??

well im not sure of the cost and that, but would it be alot harder, and more expensive for a small conference to get an off-campus arena to have their tournament?

should at least rotate through the schools if nothing else

ideal fairness wise, and ideal cost wise are usually two different things

true....I know money is an issue, but don't you want to give all the teams in your league an equal chance without fearing the home court crowd of your opponent?

In big conferences, think netural court make sense

In smaller, I think the regular season champ has earned the homecourt advantage and would go that way, especially in one bid conferences

Plenty of smaller conferences out there playing on neutral courts....why is the Horizon different though? Butler has dominated for years and years, I just don't think putting the tourney at Hinkle will give many of the other teams much motivation.
