Couple for Saturday

Northwestern +6 -105 1Half. Northwestern still has NCAA tourney hopes and desperately needs a quality win. OSU coming off a near perfect game on Tuesday and off of 2 huge games in a row (@Illinois and home to Purdue). Tough for 18, 19 20 year olds to keep getting up for game after game especially when you're #1 and have a bullseye on your back. Looking for a great effort from the home team and a let down spot for OSU.

Purdue -5 115 1Half. Minnesota going on the road minus their PG Nolen for probably the rest of the season who was big in the Home win over Purdue earlier in the season. Like Purdue off that absolute woodshed beat down from OSU Tuesday. Should have them refocused. I think they have holes at some spots but they are still the 2nd best team in this league and tough as nails at home. Tougher to win road games without your PG than it is at home and i think Purdue jumps on them today. Revenge spot. Will know right away if this is a winner IMO.

New Mexico +2 -115 1Half. Strange line IMO. BYU takes down SDSU and now they are just a 3-4 point favorite over New Mexico. Smell a 1H let down here from BYU and expect New Mexico to bring it in the 1H. Probably would have laid off this but the line being where it is has me thinking New Mexico is the right side. Already lost at home to SDSU so last chance at a good quality win IMO. BYU has to stumble at some point and play a less than stellar half/game and this is as good a spot as any IMO for that to happen.

Kentucky -6 -105 1Half. Playing a couple factors here. First Georgia off an emotional home loss to rival Florida in which they mounted a great comeback only to get pushed to a 2nd OT on a buzzer bomb from Florida and then lose by DD in the OT. Kentucky lost @ Georgia earlier in the year and has payback in the back pocket. I really expect a sluggish Georgia team at least for the 1st Half in this one. I don't necessarily trust Kentucky but hoping the loss to Georgia 2 weeks ago is enough to get their attention for at least the 1st half and willing to give it a go as i think the spot is awful for Georgia.

UCLA -135. UCLA was in the Arizona game until the refs struck with that awful elbow rule they seem to love to call EVERY game. The rule is a joke the way it's enforced. Anyhow, ASU really isn't a very good team and after the 2Half debacle @ Arizona on Thursday I like UCLA to step up here. Hate road chalk (death of a capper) and tough to trust a UCLA team that has repeatedly blown big leads. But they get the win in a game probably in the low 60's IMO.

Clemson -130. Like Clemson in a revenge spot on a short number. Good home team with revenge in need of a good win IMO. FSU not a good road team IMO. Line is about right as FSU won by 5 at home and this is probably close to a pick'em if they played in the ACC tourney on a neutral floor. Another team i hate backing but like the spot.

Wichita State -8 1/2 -115 1Half. Thank you Bradley for that wonderful collapse at home versus Illinois State 2 days ago . Amazing how you blow an 11 point lead with 2+ minutes left to the worst scoring team in your league . Wichita State just trails by a game and I would expect them to jump all over Bradley today which has to be as flat as a pancake after giving that last game away in OT and a chance for their first conference win. Wichita State off a nice win @ SIU and I expect a nice DD haltime lead here.

Central Florida -130. Just really a hunch play. Small play but man are they playing awful basketball after being a top 20 team a month ago. I get the feeling they weren't as good as they were ranked but aren't as bad as they've been playing.

Arizona/VCU 1H/KU/Kentucky/Purdue (SUML) +146

Anyway, fade 'em, play 'em, ignore 'em, plagerise 'em----lol---

Good luck

you must be dying for more NHL action. awesome job

everyone- thanks.

Purdue slow start ruins the 3-0 start to the day.

Chickensalad- thanks. Wichy Woman i thought was one of the strongest plays of the day.

couple adds:

WeberState +1. Strange line that i think begs for NoColorado money. They just ripped Weber by 20 and now are only a 1 point favorite. This is NoColorado's first loss of the season IMO. Should be a close game.

Portland +3 -105 1H. Fading StMary's off that incredible last second win at Gonzaga couple nights ago. Portland is a very capable basketball team and i wouldn't be surprised to see them win this game SU if Stmary's doesn't come to play. Like the 1H angle better but that's me.

I played your full game plays, and left off the half plays. Even when tailing I don't like half/quarter/period plays i guess. lol

Yep... bad time for pucks to take a 5 day break. I was on an insane streak...
