Devendorf is a beast

I don't care that it got waived off, that was an absolutely sick shot. I'll give him credit, despite having a menagerie of tattoos which look like they were administered by a friend in his mom's garage, dude is still a gamer.

Only thing he hits better than 3's is women...

Even tho he's gone now and has been for a couple years, I was a HUGE fan of Mcnamara (sp?) Now he was a gamer.

lol...yeah....and posing for every shot, or talking sh1t in the 1st Half...nice.

he reminds me of that guy from Memphis a few years back. Washington. always talked a big game, missed those FT's in the last seconds to lose the game for Memphis and has never been heard from again

technically doesn't matter, still sick shot, and they won lol.... Dwade stood up on the table too... his counted, but still did it. As far as he knew it did count because ref sound count it..... then went to tape... so that doesn't hold much water lol

I understand that a lot of people hate the man, but that makes him more likeable in my book. If you don't like trash talk that is fine, but it is definitely not unique to devendorf, being prevalent in both the college and pro games. You cannot question devendorf's passion for the game, desire to win, and more importantly his regard for his teammates. The whole altercation during the seton hall game happened because he was defending his teammate after a foul. Then he comes back after the technical and sticks a three right in the guys face who slaps him. I don't blame him for staring that dude down. BFD. Then you have raftery talking shit about him for the entire seton hall game, as if he is the only player in college who celebrates on the court.

If you want to despise the guy because he slapped some girl on campus that is your right, no one is going to defend his actions in that regard, although clearly no one knows the full story. The announcers are never going to forget about that incident, and seem to want to target him for scorn and derision. But the facts are it was handled by the university, he did his community service and it is over with.

My favorite moment of last night's classic game was devendorf hitting that incredible shot in front of a packed house at the worlds most famous basketball arena, and then jumping onto the scorers table next to that pussy bill raftery and glaring out at the crowd as if to say "deal with the hero you love to hate"

Classic. Nothing sweeter than to defiantly throw it in the face of your detractors.

Just my two cents...

Boeheim must see something in him?

I dont think he'd let him back on the team if his character was that flawed... just my opinion.
