On the bubble for sure, even though I don't think they are as good as their record.....+8 seems like a lot for a game they MUST have to get in the tourney IMO.

I think getting the 8 makes Illinois worth looking at. Personally the number of gutless efforts I have seen from bubble teams in the first few rds of tournaments would scare me on Illinois.

Wisconsin just pounded them last weekend in Champagne. When Illinois beat Wiscy in Madison they were without Leuer was out of the lineup. Illinois hasn't shown much at all in the last 2 weeks.

i dunno, i think it seems like a gift. most will be thinking along the same lines, bubble team fighting for their tournament lives so they gotta keep it close.

just my opinion and i don't usually bet on college basketball but that's a lot of points for a team who needs to do everything in its power to get in the tourney
