Does it get any worse than the state of Illinois basketball

my lord, there can't be a state full of worse teams.

UIC and Loyola finished dead last and second to dead last in the Horizon

Even better was the 7th, 9th, 10th finish in the 10 team MVC by SIU, Illinois State and Bradley

Depaul

nothing more needs to be said there. Dead Last i believe

Northern Illinois with an RPI in the mid 600's

Western Illinois checking in at 7-23/2-16 would be in dead last if not for 1-600 Centenary who is in their conference and ACTUALLY BEAT THEM for their only win of the season.

Eastern Illinois lost its last 200 OVC games this year and didn't even qualify for the OVC postseason tourney (finished 2nd to last which is good amongst this group)

Chicago State checking in at 6-24. They would have finished dead last in a conference but aren't officially eligible for one yet.

oh and then there is the solid group of underachievers led by DMcamey who was supposed to contend for a big10/11/12/13/14 title and may not even make the tourney.

i mean did i leave anyone out?

Seriously a state full of just awful teams.

It's almost impossible to do honestly

Illinois is garbage when it comes to all of our college basketball teams, so much talent in the state and it always goes elsewhere, very sad. Case in point, Derrick Rose.
