Don't Make Sense

Nova -2 vs. UCLA

UCLA #6, Nova #3.

It's IN Philly.

UCLA barely beats VCU and should of lost.

and yet the line is -2. UCLA wins?

thoughts anyone?

i don't know, in tournament games I don't really try to "read" the line

i just figure it is what it is and all "traps" so to speak are off because anything can happen and i'd prefer to take what looks like the better value (nova only -2 against a slightly weaker team in basically a home game)

i think nova gets some home cookin in this game and comes out firing unlike thursday, unless the refs want to make up for the shit job they did to UCLA on thursday

nova didnt do hot the first game either. You're just not going to see a school like UCLA be a big dog in these situations, and I think the refs will make sure nova advances.

just think UCLA is undervalued because of losing to a hot USC team and having a tough game against a VCU team that had two solid NBA players and even though I bet on VCU, all the calls were in VCU's favor, I'll admit that

Not really too impressed with Nova's last 4 wins, best one was a 1 point win off of Marquette which was on a losing streak (minus the win of of awful St Johns) after losing Dominic James

Novas best NBA talent is in Corey Fisher who comes off the bench and probably won't reach his potential until next year (Cunningham is 2nd round talent at best). NBA Talent is huge come tourney time.

Also homecourt advantage and being the Big East perhaps overvalues Nova. PAC 10 underrated because of parity, but Zona, SC and UW are proving otherwise

but still this is just a no bet for me as it is march madness and Nova might come out of nowhere

think the game is 50/50 and vegas got the spread right. Either Nova wins by 5 or UCLA (the more talented team) blows this out by 20. all about the 1st 10 minutes

my opinion though and I'm just a rook

I'll add another piece. This is a home game right? -2 (i havent looked this morning so it could of moved). Ohio State went from -3 to -2.5 and they pretty much played a home game too and lost.

The home court could be added pressure.

I'm going with UCLA cause it dont make sense I just wanted others opinions just incase I am reading this wrong.

It still is a home game. I'm going and just hoping for a good game.
