Granted this is a big game for the Terp's... senior night... high emotion... la la la. I hear ya but this is Duke, a solid 1 seed for the dance. Am I missing something here?

Hey X, if you want my two cents, Duke is an excellent team. This one caught my eye early also. The books do not give gifts like this. You might know that when the line is set like this that it is usually a trap, especially on a high profile game like this. There are a few stats that lean toward the Terps. ATS in conference the Terps are 11-3 and 14-9 in all games. Also on the road Duke averages 70.6 ppg with Marytown putting up 84.4 ppg at home. Maryland also beats the opp at home by an avg 19 pts. This one scares me, gonna watch the money movement today, FYI 80% of the smart money(early) is on Duke. Just seems to easy for me.

I grew up and still am a lifelong TERPS fan but that doesn't make me put my money on them. UMD is so under-rated its not funny but this is DUKE we are talking about. DUke is a more complete team and will win this one tonight by 5-8 points. Just cant see my terps getting the win here.

Duke is gonna smoke the Terps like a crack pipe in Harlem! Duke is hitting on all cylinders right now and win the ACC outright with a victory tonight. Duke also wants a #1 seed in the NCAA's and the double buy in the ACC tourney. Maryland is a good team but not the same caliber as Duke and Duke has owned the terps the last few yrs and will continue to do so tonight.

Couldn't disagree more. Before Duke's last road win against UVA (worst team in league), here are their previous road mathups:

Only team they beat there that will qualify for tourney is Clemson. Maryland has not lost a home game all year. How is duke a lock with Maryland playing solid ball at home + senior night?

Too much emphasis on this senior night issue. MD would be rocking whether this was senior night or midget night! Duke brings out the best in MD and Duke always finds a way and they will again tonight. There is just as much, if not more motivation in trying to lock up 1 seeds than playing on senior night.
