Florida/Miss State

i was just curious to see florida resume compared to miss state's resume and i think there could be argument there.

miss state did just beat florida on a neutral site and while florida does have wins over mich st and florida st. they did have just as bad of losses like south alabama, georgia, south carolina. florida did beat miss st at home, but i think that series would have been split if they played twice and then miss st winning the neutral site game.

florida did lose 2 more games overall, but have those 2 wins.

i think miss st losing by 0.000001 seconds to kentucky should have meant something especially on a neutral court and going to OT in a game they should have won against kentucky while florida lost by 7 or more to kentucky.

personally would have took miss st in over florida, but doesnt really matter.

they split their games and had miss st gotten in over florida the only tourney team they beat was houston ALL season long

But yeah, Florida's not much better, with the 2 wins you mentioned, and Tennessee.

I dont personally care about bad losses, you dont play bad teams in the tourney - id rather see what you did against the type of team you'll play in the tourney, good teams. And Florida did better than Miss St in that category

Illinois' resume was better than both, combined, imo

You know, this whole selection things is BS..I was watching ESPN last night and the instudio crew did the BLIND resume thing. Of the three teams the listed (SH, Miss St., and Florida) all three "EXPERTS" picked Florida as team "C" to get in. I think Florida gets blown out by SH and Miss St.

I have heard this week rumors about making the tournament 96 teams....what a joke!!!
