I have been following this conference for a little while and have done extensive homework on this tournament and the Miami OH-Akron game exclusively. Four times the No. 4 seed has won the MAC Tournament, including two of the last four tournaments. So, something tells me this is a hot seed to take down the whole tournament. This helped make things a little more appealing when I pulled the Red Hawks out of my treasure chest to take a peek for tonight's match up.

Miami comes in the top team in the conference with an RPI at 75. Their loss to Buffalo on Sunday probably dropped them from a number 1 seed to a 4. Akron needed overtime to beat Toledo and both of these teams split their victories against each other at home. I remember watching Miami OH dominate Toledo in all aspects of the game. Why? This Bramos kid is a hell of a player and a great leader. Akron did defend Bramos well around the perimeter, but the problem was Tyler Dierkers wasn't being utilized in the paint. A few rounds of film and a gritty vet like Coach Coles getting this team ready will be all it takes to win the game and cover the 2 points.

Bramos was just recently named MAC player of the year. I fully expect him to answer his critics against a struggling Akron defense that will probably key in on Bramos leaving the door wide open for Tyler Dierkers to get some cheap points.

I am going huge on this game. Why? Several reasons, some of them were listed above. But, the key to why I am picking this game is the MAC player of the year, Michael Bramos and a great basketball coach that knows how to win this tournament as he has done three times already. I don't think any team in this conference will be more hungry than the Red Hawks. Especially how they closed out their final game costing them a likely 1 seed.
The Red Hawks are 11-2 ATS in their last 13 neutral site games. And their fans will be in full force for a nice cover and a nice victory!

Sorry for rambling on. I have been looking into this game for a long time now. I just wanted to talk about the match up and team I am investing a big play on.

Best of luck again.

FF

Thanks NC. I am confident in this play. Hopefully we will be celebrating after tonight's games! Looking forward to your plays as well.
