Is this a good future bet on VCU?

Pinny has a future bet that you can place on VCU to win the championship at +600. So if you like VCU to win today against Butler, wouldn't it be a better bet to place the future bet on VCU? If VCU wins today, you can hedge the bet against Kentucky / UCONN.

Of course, if the bet doesn't look good during the game, you can always hedge at half time or during live betting.

Any comments are greatly appreciated.

if you find a way to hedge I guess...

how are you going find a profitable hedge if they are down at halftime?

Yep, you are right. Hedging is not easy unless VCU is ahead. I still think the future bet is better if you like VCU today.
