Good Old Garbage Bucket Burn on Parlay

I'm not here to cry or complain its gamblin and everyone has been burned by the garbage bucket. This one hurt bad tho. Had a 5 teamer. (yes i know parlays are stupid and shouldnt bet them cuz this is what happens) put a small one in today first 4 hit .. last game was Tulsa Coll Bball had it at 15.5..worst part is i thought it was over and a lock up 15 at half .. let them hang around up 16 with under 30 secs Loyola school of blind had to shoot cuz shot clock was running out .. Not only does the guy miss, it gets worse .. Tulsa guys decide not to grab the ball and rebound .. Loyola blind guy dunks it for a garbage bucket and don't cover and dont hit the 5 teams .. like i said not here to cry .. but that really blows

I feel ya.

Not a Duke fan to start w/ but really don't like 'em ever since 2nd round in last years Big Dance. Same deal, 5-game parlay, needed them to cover 7, won by 5.

But on the flip-side, it's fun to get that free throw, or 2, to cover!


EDIT: The reason for the story from a long time ago is I usually will do a $25 5-gamer a day but I "felt good" about this one...$150.

I feel your pain bookie because I've had the same thing happen to me.

Had a 5-team NFL parlay this past weekend and won the first 4 which was going to pay over 1,000..sooo to insure I win something, put a small bet on the other team. Willing to win a smaller payout on the parlay, but this way I win no matter which team wins.

In the end, my 5-teamer hit but I was relaxed watching the game - no sweating on my part.
