They have only PLAYED 3 tourney teams all year

also 2-3 vs Sagarin top 50

Will be doing all tournament props against these jokers.

they went to gonzaga and beat them by 20...may not have the # of teams played but they are a pretty good team

also they had some new roles to fill...all 3 of losses in first month of the season. much different team now imo

they werent tested last year either this team can play, usually teams slip up at east one they didnt once and when they lost to Georgetown, Georgetown was playing well.....If your in a pool though you take them to win you got it wrapped up, but they do have a hard test in Northridge it doensnt look like it bt Northridge runs and runs

I try to shy away from teams that can play lock down defense but will undoubtedly have a 5 minute scoreless stretch & will have trouble in last 5 minutes in a tight game making a big bucket

i wouldnt get too crazy with fading these guys....between memphis, mich st, duke, and oklahoma, id fear memphis the most as a 2 seed

Agreed ... Memphis is long and athletic, making them a tough match-up for anyone. I think I read/heard that their senior class is the winningest class of all time (4 straight 30+ win seasons). I know everyone will say, "Well, Conf. USA is a joke" but winning sometimes is one thing, winning almost all the time is quite another. I think they go deep.

Underestimating Memphis is a bad idea..... they're very athletic, and play some nasty defense. Who did they play last year in the regular season and still made it to championship game, and SHOULD have won it. You could make a case they won't cover every game, as they have had a couple games where they haven't blown out opponents, but they'll make some noise again.....i'll take defense over offense every day of the week

6-3 vs sagarin top 61, use whatever qualifiers you want, you won't find another team in college basketball that is as long and athletic as memphis, and that will be true next year, the year after, and the year after
