If you like Louisville, this has to concern you

Or at least it should

As I've mentioned before on here, I lived in Louisville for a few years when I was younger, so besides Minnesota, where I went to school, this is the team in CBB I pull for

So much was made of Memphis last year and how lousy they were at free throws. This year I've barely seen anything on Louisville's awful FT percentage. I believe this is correct, from my quick scan of the numbers, but Louisville has the 2nd worst FT percentage of all the teams in the tourney.

Here are the bottom 10 from what I saw, Again I THINK this is all correct

10 Worst FT % teams in the tourney

1. Syracuse 63.9%
2. Louisville 64.3%
3. Dayton 64.5%
4. Stephen Austin 65%
5. Siena 66.2%
6. USC 66.6%
7. Missouri 66.8%
8. Texas 67.1%
9. Pittsburgh 67.4%
10. Tennessee 67.4%

Probably will become a factor in some close game down the stretch, Hope I"m wroing

BTW Memphis is up to 69.6% this year. Big improvement over last season.

Everybody having love for UConn! Why??? I would be worried about them, not the same team anymore. 4-3 since they lost Dyess and have lost 2 straight going into the Dance. Im even liking Tenn Chat getting 3 TD's. Lucky they are a 1 seed, never see the F4 if even E8, jmo.

I agree with you, but who's going to beat them? A&M/BYU? Think we got a shot?

ran, are you kidding me! Ags will be lucky to get past BYU, Im staying away from it, but will watch... few tidbits good and bad:

The WAC has never had a team win its first round game that was an at-large bid, BYU is an at-large bid.

This is a REPEAT matchup of last years first round game (which sucks), last year Ags knocked out BYU first round by 5. Does BYU want to get knocked out two years in a row in the NCAA tourney first round by A&M, likely not. Little payback factor, probably so.

I think WHOMEVER wants it more and gets the few ref calls win. Havent looked that close at the matchup yet. But, winner of BYU/A&M does play UConn tough.

you listed who has the worst free throw %, what teams have the best. Good info for down the stretch when teams start sending people to the line with two minutes left in the game.

As I follow Michigan St. closely, I can't beleive there are 10 teams worse than they are at the charity stripe, but I guess numbers don't lie.

purely wishing... does suck we play them again this year... f'd up IMO.
