Iowa State Coach McDermott leaves for Creighton
Leaving Iowa State for a Missouri Valley job lol
His son accepted a scholarship to play at creighton, dad is taggin' along Pollard Confirms McDermott to Creighton AMES, Iowa- Iowa State Director of Athletics Jamie Pollard said Monday that Greg McDermott informed him this afternoon that he has accepted the men’s basketball head coaching position at Creighton. “I know this was a very difficult decision for Greg and his family,” Pollard said. “The contract terms that Creighton offered him and an opportunity to coach his son were significant factors in his decision. We wish Greg the best of luck at Creighton.” Pollard said that his immediate attention is focused on finding a replacement and he would have no further comments at this time.

that is awesome...leave "major" to go to "mid-major"...sign of the times...omaha is probably better than tiny azz ames anyway...maybe he can hang with stingy azz warren buffet at his dump of a house and take in some omaha beef games

Oops... I almost forgot. I won't be able to make it fellas. Veronica and I trying this new fad called uh, jogging. I believe it's jogging or yogging. it might be a soft j. I'm not sure but apparently you just run for an extended period of time. It's supposed to be wild.
