Pissed Self off somehow, so not playing this game is what I heard on the radio...
27.5 Mins 9 pts 5 assists per game... not sure if this hurts or makes the other guys rally... anyone else hear this?

Kansas junior guard Tyshawn Taylor has been suspended indefinitely from the team for violating team rules, coach Bill Self announced Monday.
The school did not specify the violation. Kansas is not specifying why guard Tyshawn Taylor has been suspended from the team. Taylor has started all but one game for the 25-2 Jayhawks, who are ranked second in the latest ESPN/USA Today coaches' poll (No. 3 AP). They play host to Oklahoma State on Monday night (ESPN, 9 ET). "Although we are disappointed in Tyshawn, he will remain a member of our team and practice with our team until he is reinstated for competition," Self said in a statement. The loss of Taylor comes at a critical juncture for the Jayhawks (10-2 Big 12), who are chasing Texas (11-1 Big 12, 23-4) for the conference title. There are four games remaining in the regular season. Taylor has struggled replacing Sherron Collins at point guard, averaging 8.8 points per game for Kansas and ranking third in the Big 12 in in assists per game (4.7). Freshman Josh Selby and sophomore Elijah Johnson are the other point guards who are available. Earlier this season, senior forward Mario Little was suspended for six games in connection with his arrest in a domestic disturbance. He was reinstated after receiving a diversion agreement on two misdemeanor battery charges. |
