The last time...
UCONN, North Carolina and UCLA all missed the NCAA Tourney, I was heading to NJ to get ready to keep the N Vietnam Army from invading Philly, 1966.
Of course there were only 16 teams then and the Little known Salukies, with Walt Frazier, just spanked Marquette, Duke, St Peters and one other that I forgot, all as a dog, to win the NIT. The Salukies big rival then was Evansville, led by non other than Jerry Sloan
