LBS +22 @ Wisconsin (2)

LBS opened up on Friday at BYU. BYU won the game 75-65 to exp tend the nations longest HC winning streak to 48, but it wasn't without a scare. LBS had them down 7 at the half before BYU went on one of their famous runs at home. Pretty tough opener to play a team like that as BYU was 27-8 last year and won their conf. LBS last year under their 1st year Coach Monson (Former Minny) went 6-25. All 5 starters return led by seniors Donavan Morris who led the team with a 21.2 ppg and Cornell Williams at 7.2 and 4.8 rebs a game. They have a transfer eligible from Colorado St named Gilling. He averaged 8.9 ppg and shot 43.5 % from 3 pt land. All 3 scored in DD's in the opener at BYU. This team will be vastly improved from last year and I wouldn't be surprised if they challenge for a top 4 position in a very good conf.

Wiscy is Wiscy. They just win every year by playing tough D and a pretty patient offense. They led the nation in scoring defense. They did lose 3 very key players in Flowers, Butch, Stiemsma, but still have a fine core back in Hughes Bohannon, and Krabbenhoft. Wiscy plaed to the tune of 11-22 on the O/U. Most likely due to their D as they were 19-14 ats.

I just think this is a very inflated line and a awful lot of points to give to this team who looked pretty good in their opener at BYU. Plus the fact Monson knows the Wiscy system having coached at Minny and going at each other in the big 10. I really think BO will take a look at a lot of his younger players if and when they get out to a comfortable lead. Anyway, worth a play for me.

NM @ Creighton -3 (2)

Creighton returns 10 Letterman and 3 starters from last year's team that went 22-11. NM returns 4 starters from last year's 24-9 team and NIT appearance. Creighton is just a very tough place to play and although NM is a very good basketball team I like the homey in this one. Creighton is 79-11 in home openers and picked to win the very competitive MVC. So I'm taking them at home.

Other games I'm playing:

Kansas St -21 (1)
Niagara -7 (1)
Florida -15 1/2 (1)

Good luck my friends
