On the other side. I feel Michigan keeps it within the 12.5 pts. This is my HOMER play. At least one of us will win.

Exclamation Purdue vs Michigan Post Game....

How in the world do I start this post? The Purdue / Michigan game was nationally televised on CBS and the people sure got their money's worth! I was in attendance and let me tell you, the Big Ten has some real issues when it comes to taking control of games and officiating consistency. This isn't a post to complain about a spread or an awful call because Purdue dominated the 2nd half and won by 18 (covered). I've never seen so many bodies hit the floor without a whistle being blown. It took coach Painter to get a Technical Foul AFTER the first half had ended......that's right, everyone was pacing to the locker room and the fans were getting their halftime beverages while Painter was in the middle of the floor getting T'ed up! Robbie Hummel, kid has a bad back, was involved in a few plays that resembled a pile up in the NFL after the football is fumbled. He was basically tackled 3 or 4 times and there wasn't ONE whistle. Next, Chris Kramer is practically KO'ed by and elbow from Manny Harris in which it is believed that Kramer broke his nose! There was a puddle of blood on the court when he rolled over and the crowd booed for about 10 straight minutes before Manny was finally ejected. Kramer came back into the game about 5 minutes later wearing the face mask made infamous by Richard Hamilton of the Pistons.

Anyway, I'm happy for the victory and the cover but the Big Ten has to get their officiating under control. There are way too many inconsistencies and thus games have no tempo. The Big Ten won't win a National Title anytime soon because officials allow way too many bodies to go flying. When the Big Ten teams get into the tournament they pay the price because other officiating crews penalize them for their defensive physicality. There are going to be more and more injuries due to this and it's pathetic. Purdue plays @ Ohio State and @ Illinois coming up, and with the way we were beat up today I'd almost say to play OSU and ILL strong. It's sad but the Boilers are beat up right now. Anyway, GO BOILERS! Winners by 18 today!!
