Wink Louisville/West Vagina

Louisville at West Virginia

The Louisville Cardinals (24-5 SU, 17-12 ATS) have won six consecutive games but have failed to cover the spread in two straight.By the time Louisville’s Big East battle commences, the Cardinals will know what they are playing for, the outright conference crown or a portion of it. Since being knocked silly at Notre Dame, Louisville has played better defense and taken better shots, improving shooting percentage significantly, in winning six straight (4-2 ATS). Finally, after much harping, the Cardinal players look to have bought into coach Rick Pitino’s wisdom and are playing with the passion and smarts he has been seeking. They will be traveling to a really challenging environment in Morgantown; however they are 7-1 SU and ATS in true road outings.

The West Virginia Mountaineers (21-9 SU, 13-14 ATS, ) have won two straight, albeit, over lowly South Florida and DePaul & has again exceeded preseason presumptions and could cap a super close to the season with an upset of Louisville. The Mountaineers are 23-13 ATS record in home games.

It is really difficult to bet against Louisville, with its 38-13-1 ATS mark in the Big East.

A few trends to consider:
Louisville' is 5-0 SU in its last 5 games
Louisville is 7-1 SU in its last 8 games on the road
Louisville is 7-1 ATS in its last 8 games on the road

West Virginia' is 5-1 SU in its last 6 games
West Virginia' is 4-2 ATS in its last 6 games
West Virginia is 1-4 SU in its last 5 games when playing Louisville

Neveda at Boise St****(Play of the Day) already posted

The Broncos are much better at Taco Bell Arena than they are on the road as they host Nevada tonight as a one point favorite. The Broncos have beaten the likes of Utah St, LA Tech, New Mexico St and Hawaii at home this year. They are taking on a Wolfpack team that is 6-13 ATS in their last 19 games overall and has won five in a row in conference.

(extra incentive)
Boise State has been one of the best home bets in the country this season. 13-2 in their gym, the Broncos will look for revenge from a 14-point setback in the first meeting in Reno back in mid January. Boise State will need the automatica bid to get back to the Big Dance, so a win here would build some momentum before the WAC tournament next week. That all changes tonight. Expect the Broncos to win by close to double digits on senior day in Boise.
The Wiz will back the Broncos in this one.

recommend:Boise St-1
