Many Strange Lines Out There Today

I was looking at today's card and couldn't help but notice a lot of strange lines and line movements.

USC vs. Oregon
USC -2.5 (-107) vs. Oregon +2.5 (-103). Line opens up at -4 for USC which is 2.5 higher than what I capped it at, but with roughly 80% of the public on them the line drops to -2.5 USC.

South Carolina vs. Baylor
South Carolina +9 (-105) vs. Baylor -9 (-105). Line opens up at -10 Baylor and has since dropped to -9 with roughly 61% of public the on them. Surprisingly I capped this game at -11 for Baylor.

Santa Clara vs. Harvard
Santa Clara -3 (-103) vs. Harvard +3 (-107). Line opens up -3 Santa Clara and remains the same although 78% of the public is on Santa Clara. Line should have opened up Santa Clara -4.

Dayton vs. Toledo
Dayton -9.5 (-105) vs. Toledo +9.5 (-105). Line opens up Dayton favored by -8 and with roughly 81% of the public on them the line drives up to -9.5 for Dayton. However, the line should have opened up for Dayton at -14 or at the very least -13.5 and that is taking into consideration it's an away game for Dayton being that it is only 2.5 hours away from Toledo.

Arizona vs. California
Arizona +3.5 (-105) vs. California -3.5 (-105). Line opens up for -3 for California, and with 71% of the public on them, it is now -3.5 for California. The line should have opened up -7.5 for California or if Vegas was feeling very giving, then at -7 the least.

Syracuse vs. South Florida
Syracuse -8 (-105) vs. South Florida +8 (-105). Line opens up Syracuse -7 and with 92% of the public on them, it only drives up one (1) point. Line should have opened up Syracuse -10 at the least, and maybe -10.5 to make me a strong believer.


There are still 10 more games out there today, but most of the one's that I like are coming off the early games. Maybe 1 or 2 at the most for the late games. Note that I will probably only play 2-3 at most for the early games.

I am as clueless as you, the Santa Clara line is actually down now to -2 now. I think they gonna crush havard a team who hasnt beat anybody with a better record then 4-8
