5* Wofford (-6) vs. Elon

Wofford comes into this game off back-to-back road blowout losses, and now returns home to play a terribly inconsistent Elon team, which has won just one of its previous eight games. The win came last time out, just two days ago, when they pulled out an 86-85 OT win against Chattanooga at home. I think Elon comes into this one with tired legs, and I don't anticipate that they'll be too revved up to take on Wofford, who will be looking to get back on the winning side of things at home after dropping the last two by 20+. I think Dahlman and Salters will carry the offensive load for Wofford and I expect them to win by double digits. I have this game capped as Wofford -12, so this is great value. Take Wofford.

5* Notre Dame (-3) vs. Marquette

Marquette has won nine straight. Notre Dame has lost three straight. Notre Dame's last loss, just two days ago, put an end to its 45-game home win streak which included 20 straight in the Big East. Now tell me, which team comes in with a chip on its shoulder? I say the Irish.

Look, Marquette has been, in many ways, the story of college hoops this year. I don't think anybody expected them to be in the top 10 after losing Tom Crean to Indiana last year. But let me ask you this: who have they beaten, particularly on the road? Marquette's first 11 games of the season were at home. This will be only their fourth true road game -- their first three were at NC State (68-65 win), at Rutgers (81-76 win) and at Providence (91-82 win). None of those teams will make the NCAA Tournament this year. I'm not positive on this, but I think this might be only the second time Marquette is underdogs ALL SEASON.

Notre Dame has lost to quality opponents and has played up to par in most of their defeats this season. If you watched Notre Dame's game against UConn on Saturday, you would have seen that a) Harangody played with supreme passion and intensity and that b) McAlarney had a rare off day from 3-point range. I look for Notre Dame to right their wrong and to climb back to .500 in the Big East. Look for them to come out and tear Marquette a new one, with the home win streak starting back at 1 once again.

This isn't my stat, but Notre Dame is 10-0 against the spread off three straight losses this decade. I think I'll align myself with that side of things. Take Notre Dame.

ChannelSurfing.Net Game of the Night:

2* NC Greensboro (+3) at Furman

Look for NCG to take this one outright. I don't think this would be a terrible moneyline play at +135, but just to be safe, I'll take the three points. Take NC Greensboro.
