MasterCapper's got a funny feeling ...

That Syracuse (-1) turns today's game against Louisville into a laugher. The Cuse have had six days to stew over their tough loss at Pittsburgh, where they fell 78-60 in a game that got away from them late in the first half.

I also think there's a similarity in this spot to the one Cuse found themselves in two weeks earlier, when they got smashed against Georgetown, 88-74. How did they respond? By blowing out Notre Dame conviningly, 93-74.

Off a tough loss to Pitt, and playing against Louisville, who nobody thought would be 5-0 and at the top of the conference, seems like as good a time as any to put together a strong showing. Louisville has already faced some of the Big East's best, and though they've been strong, they've shown some vulnerability. I can see them coming out a bit flat in this one.

Take Syracuse 10*

Good Luck. Not too sure about it myself. I may tease it out with something else today, probably pitt or clemson.

Man, Cuse's late collapse cost me a chance at a big day.

Indiana covered and the Celts -- currently up 30 -- are rolling. Oh well, maybe a winning day after all.

Yeah, I did too. Those two straight offensive foul calls on Devendorf, plus throwing the ball away on the ensuing possession -- three turnovers on three trips, in all -- did them in.

They had their chances, for sure. When they took the 1-point lead with 2 min left I thought they had it. Oh well, the way the Lakers game is going, I might get outta here with a 4-1 day after all.

Plus nine units after a 5-1 day. Hope everyone got the outcomes they were looking for!!

I don't know about you guys, but I'm loving Notre Dame tomorrow at -3. I think they are going to come out fuming, looking to start their home streak right back up again.

We'll see.
