john calipari is hands down the best recruiter in the nation and a top 2 or 3 coach.

they just lack a true big man. the whole average competition thing isnt all their fault.

i dont see gonzaga running wild in the WCC and they are a good 5 levels above St Marys as far as talent goes.

Utah St couldnt run the table in the WAC and the WAC is a joke

its just like football and what happens to USC every year, conference play is the hardest games you play all season no matter what the conference is.

calipari complete reloads after losing all his top players from a team that was a buzzer beating 3 away from winning the national championship

you said get back to you like my thread was directed at you. just try and offer your opinion without being a pompous ass. no need to bum rush it with a opinion that is impossible to prove.

they are what their record says they are, fact.

hey, they are a great team. no doubt. that game they play @ gonzaga was one of the more impressive individual team wins i have seen all year.

i just think its bull that they get all this love when they play in a league with 2-3 good teams when teams in the BE, ACC, Big 12 have to deal with 3X that amount.

calipari is a great coach, and a great recruiter, but i dont think they get that that far in this year's tourney due to their youth.

top 10 team easy, but i would love to see them play in a bigger conference to get a feel for where they stand nationally

its not really fair that teams fron non bcs schools get into bcs games, or if they go undefeated not play for the natioanal championship.

but to say that they are the 6th best team in the big east is taking it a little far. theyd probably have about 12-13 wins in the big east

big east is a little overrated to me, theyd be lucky to have more then 1 team in the elite 8.

i dont think the big east is better then the acc.

wow....thats your opinion, but we can just disagree.

maybe 6th was a little to ambitious, but i think they would get worn down going through that schedule...in either conference.

memphis is not used to being punched in the mouth and bodied up, and i think that in a bigger conference they would see a whole new game thrown at them.

i would take the top 5 teams in BE and match them against top 5 in ACC and go 3-2 atleast

also, for example.......when notre dame had their 7 game losing streak here was their schedule

@ lville, @ cuse, Uconn, Marq, @ pitt, @ cincy

in the same time period here in memphis

marshall, @ ucf, @ tulsa, uab, Rice, @ blackbeardpimp, Houston

you put memphis in ND's schedule during that time and they go 3-3 at best there
