Arrow Monday, Monday, Monday!! **GOY**

Wow, I don't normally do this.....matter of fact I've NEVER played a GOY play, but today, I DO! Big Monday has that name for a reason and tonight there is one game that I'm going to land an uppercut right to the bookie's mouth!

WOFFORD (-6) vs Elon University
- Play with 100% confidence!

Other plays I'm making! (Feel good about these too, just not GOY good!)

NC Greensboro (+3.5) vs Furman
The Citadel (+5) vs Samford
Oklahoma (-3.5) vs Oklahoma State
Canisius (+13) vs Niagara

Good Luck to all at the MALL today!! Let's beat the man's ass today!

GL on your play of the year. Can you give any insight into that Wofford pick? I would like to follow, but don't know a thing about either team or this game. Thanks.

Thanks for the well wishes everyone....I told you I'd be here for my analysis for those who would like to hear it. Well, here it is.....

Wofford may be a dismal 7-9 overall and 3-2 at home but they are 6-3 ATS in their last 10 games while facing an Elon team who is 0-7 on the road and 3-4 ATS when traveling this season.

We also need to consider the strength of opponents faced, past and present. Wofford played the likes of Clemson, Georgia, Dayton, South Carolina, and Davidson. All these teams are from competitive conferences and posed a difficult challenge for Wofford. Of those 5 teams, Wofford covered the spread in 3 out of the 5 while playing impressive basketball. Last season Elon took Wofford into overtime and pulled out the victory. People must remember that even though this isn't a power conference, revenge is still on the minds of these kids.

I look for Tim Johnson to crash the boards all night while attempting to bring the home court back to Wofford. They haven't beaten Elon at home since early in 2007. That WILL change tonight! The down low and perimeter presence of Johnson and Salters should provide a great combination to open up the 3pt shot as well as the post play down low. You also must remember that Junior Salters has missed 5 games due to injury so he is looking to make his presence felt tonight while seeking revenge on Elon. Wofford is an overall better statistical 3pt shooting team as well as free throw shooting so when the fouls start piling up this evening look for Wofford to take advantage.

In 5 of Wofford's 9 losses this season they have lost by 5pts or less. Wofford is 3rd in the conference in scoring defense and have two freshman point guards who are in the top 10 in assists in the So. Conf. Wofford commits roughly 15 fouls per game which is 13th in the nation out of 330 schools. Will Elon's FT shooting woes as of late this posses a good advantage down the stretch. Look for Noah Dahlman, Tim Johnson, and Junior Salters to step up tonight and bring a convincing "W" back to Wofford at home. Elon is tired and worn out from some exhausting games as of late.

Some side statistics include Vegas side bets being 65% and as of right now 93% of the money is on Wofford. This isn't one of those, "Oh, all the money is on Wofford, this smells fishy". This is, "The money is on Wofford, Vegas is going to get kicked in the nuts". Most sites opened their lines up at about 5.5 or 6 and it's now up to 7 and 7.5 on some sites. With 4 of 7 series games going under the total I like tonight's game to be lopsided with the under.

Pains me to say this but I'd also like to point out what Wofford did to my Boilermakers last year. As part of the 2007 Las Vegas Classic, the Terriers defeated Purdue on December 19 by a score of 69-66. Wofford was the first team from the Southern Conference to ever defeat Purdue. The Terriers win at Purdue was the only conference win over a member of the Big Ten conference last season (1-4). In addition, the Boilermakers finished the season ranked #16 in the USA Today/ESPN Poll. Purdue dominates at home for the most part, that's why this Wofford win was impressive.

I know that game means nothing compared to tonight but Wofford is battle tested this season and I look for a dominating performance that keeps the Wofford crowd in the stands until 0:00 is on the clock at the end!

Final Score prediction: Wofford 70, Elon 57
