i like the illini alot at first glance. they are a different animal at home.

lost to wisky on the road and they beat wisky at home.

they beat michigan state last year at home and while illinois is probably a better team this year. everyone returning and adding the fresman richmond. mich st is worse this year. illinois won by 5 last year. i could see a 8 point win

starting to become convinced we won't see a Sparty run in March like we usually do.....this MSU team just has a different feel and playing style. They don't have a leader to take over the game like years past. Kalin just doesn't seem like his old self....

i actually think they may be ok on a neutral court. they still have lucas, summers, green, appiling(sp?) frosh. and roe and payne are still a good team.

i just dont think they can go to a top 30 teams school on the road right now and win.
