Thumbs up Muckslinger -- FRIDAY, IA vs IA ST

Hey Guys I'm sticking with the best Trend of the year tonight.... Betting against iowa....

The state got 16 inches of snow dumped on it this week! Yuck!

7* -- ia st -12

you ask why? First off iowa's coach is not going to be at this game due to being hospitalized last week...

Last year cyrus Tate frustrated brackins which could happen again this year....but

We will see a match up of true freshman Brennan cougill for Iowa try to guard Marquis gillstrap which is a totL mismatch!

Iowa hasn't won it's past 3 times they have played at hilton

IF Iowa decides to play zone to try to stop gillstrap and brackins... The game will fall into the hands of staiger and chrisopherson to get shots...staiger dropped 10-16 against drake early this season and chrisopherson is shoot 59% on year.

Rebounding will be all Iowa state...

This is a huge rivalry game In the state but look for a blow out!

Being a Cyclone I hope you are right. Obviously a big mismatch on paper, but coach Mac's inability to get them to finish a game has me worried. I'll be on it with a small homer play. BOL

I'll add a couple of things to your post.

1) Iowa got stuck in Cedar Falls after Tuesday night's game and didn't get back to Iowa City until about 9pm Wednesday night.

2) Tate graduated, Cole and Cougil will be matched up with Brackins, but Iowa really has hardly any athletic ability so it comes down to them shooting well from 3pt range, which likely won't happen on the road.

3) This is Iowa's first real road game in a hostile environment. The arena in Cedar Falls only seats 7000 which is a far cry from Hilton which is known to get very loud for ISU home games.

Good luck with your play.

You should spend some time in thought. And number three is, you should have your emotions moved to tears, could be happiness or joy. But think about it. If you laugh, you think, and you cry, that's a full day. That's a heck of a day. You do that seven days a week, you're going to have something special.” ---Jim Valvano
