Muckslinger --- iowa vs drake

10* --- IOWA -4(-120)

DRAKE is the team I follow the closest being im an alumni....

They will not be able to play with iowa in this game...

The biggest problem for Drake, has been its inability to find consistency at the offensive end of the floor, as the Bulldogs are averaging a weak 62.2 ppg, behind a mediocre 40.8 percent shooting effort. Rayvonte Rice is currently leading the team with 12.3 ppg, while Seth VanDeest is contributing 12.1 ppg, to go along with 5.4 rpg. Ryan Wedel rounds out the double-figure scorers for Drake, as the guard is netting 11.5 ppg, while shooting an impressive 50.8 percent from the field. The Bulldogs overcame their offensive struggles in their last matchup, as the team shot 53.1 percent en route to a win over Boise State. VanDeest led five players in double-figures, as the center tallied a double-double of 13 points and 10 rebounds. Wedel also posted 13 points for Drake, while Aaron Hawley registered 12 points. Rice helped out with 11 points, while Kurt Alexander finished with 10 points.

It is only a matter of time before Gatens finds his groove offensively, and once he does the Hawkeyes should hit another gear at that end of the floor. Look for his turn around to begin this evening on the road against Drake
