Murray State

They are currently ranked 15th in the nation and it looks like they have an easy road to an unbeaten regular season. Assuming they win the OVC tourney and by then should be ranked in top 5, what seed could a team like this earn? They have wins over quality teams like Memphis, So Miss, Dayton and maybe San Fran. They can't give them a #1 seed but would almost have to give them a #2, which would be the highest I have ever seen a team this small. They can't keep moving them up the rankings if they're not ready to give them their respect on selection Sunday. Gonna be interesting

i think undefeated they are a 3 seed, 1 or 2 losses makes them a 5 seed

Agree with you, with the exception of the 1 or 2 losses I think that would put them down to a 6 seed highest

they are good and have a good team, no top 5 seed will want to play them! at 15 I do believe they are overrated tho, they havent beaten a current top 25 team and dont play one, they have a few good wins over teams you mentioned, but those teams are ok but not top 30 teams, including blemphis, jmo... with their record if a 3-5 seed they will get knocked off, if they are a 8 or lower seed they can pull the upsets

That makes no sense at all. If they are a #3 seed, they will play #14, then #6, then #2 if it goes in form. If they are a #8 seed, they play #9, then #1. So, you saying they have a better chance at upsetting #1 seed than beating #14, then #6 seeds?

If they lose any game with the schedule they have left, they have no shot at a top 5 seed.
