My Dilemma with a NCAA Pool: Richmond Spiders @ Bucknell Bisons
I picked Richmond tonight to win on the road at Bucknell in a lottery pool and they were the only game i needed to come through for me. The thing about this lottery pool is that it is a $5 buy in and there were 9 games on the board. I went 8-1 on the night but people have the ability to "Box" or "Clear" games up to 4 games on their ticket.
The games on the ticket were (My selections are bolded): 1 OIST SCAR 2 BAYL BRYG 3 TMPL TEX 4 MPHS LSVL 5 MISS SMSP 6 ODOMCFLA 7 SRCS NCST 8 RCHM BUCK 9 VLN STJO **Given the selection card, and taking into the account that one can clear up to 4 games off the card for a price of $80, how likely is it that someone cleared the Richmond game off their card or even chose Bucknell straight up to sin based on the variety of choices one could make? True, but a lot of people were stuck in between Temple & Texas, Baylor & BYU, Miss & Southern Miss, Villanova & St.Josephs, and Memphis & Louisville These games could have easily been upsets or could have gone the other way so i can imagine some boxes being used up on the trikier games just to save some heartache.....the trickiest part is that the Richmond vs. Bucknell game didn't even have Vegas betting lines on it. It wasn't even on PRO-Line. They just threw it into the pool because they knew most people would take Richmond over Bucknell without thinking about it.

This is a possibility, but do you think that there is a separate market for College Basketball Pool Players & College Football Pool Players on the Proline Pools?

haha But then again, if they are die hards playing the basketball pool this early in the season they must have taken their due diligence to box out any games that they had doubt on. Plus I still find it very sneaky that OLG would put a game on the pool that little to no online sportsbooks have available for betting and they didn't even include it on their pro-line card either. If you search the Richmond vs. Bucknell betting line, you can't find it because there is no line.

wait til sunday to lay ther $ when the pots are bigger.. or your theory comes into play and there are 100's of winners splitting a 10,000 pot |
