I'm a homer, but this state is sure buzzing...we all knew how good they really are...I think they struggle with MSU...izzo will have those athletic guards all over

These 3 teams (UNI, St Mary's, Cornell) arent your typical cinderellas that you see each year.

Usually you see teams that shoot the 3 well, get hot, and win a couple games. Eventually lose out to the bigger, stronger, more defensive teams when they have an off shooting night

But these 3 teams, they are big, strong, even somewhat deep, and great defensively. Couple that with the fact that the upper tier of teams isnt as strong as in years past, and I think if it were to ever happen, this would be the year

growing up about 45 miles from the UNI campus, I'm pulling for them

and btw, in my opinion, this UNI team matches up better against MSU than either Tenn or OSU

they can matchup against MSU on the inside, just like they did against aldrich and the morrises - they dont let you get the ball inside

what they cant match up with is full court press (tenn) or the length & athleticism of evan turner

I agree, both these teams are very evenly matched. Little guys just not gonna be able to do it. 5 point loss is my guess. Good run though.

With Lucas being out for MSU, that definitely doesn't hurt UNI....Lucas leads team in pts, assists, and minutes.
