ncaa play

The worst thing for a team that is shooting the lights out is a layoff and going away from your backyard, that is exactly what syracuse is doing. Add to that Butler will be the best defensive team that syracuse will play especially against the 3 where Butler is holding teams to 24.8% in thier last 5 games.

Butler is also shooting a simular % (39.3%) from the 3 line to syracuse average 39.2% for the season. Butler plays much better defense only allowing only 56.8 ppg in the last 5 vs. syracuse allowing 71.2 ppg last 5.

Butler showed that they can play ANY way and win, beating a highpaced UTEP team 77-59 and comming right back to play a very good murray st. team 54-52.

Arinze Onuaku is out still for tonights game, which has to eventually wiegh on this teams shoulders especially travelling all the way to salt lake city vs. a team with very good defense and turn over ratio.

Syracuse has only lost 4 games all year long but they have lost 2 of thier last 4, the last 2 being played in @ buffallo with a large crowd advantage. I wont be shocked to see Butler pull off the upset here on a 19 game winning streak with nothing to lose tonight. Great value in Butler tonight vs. the #1 seed.

Xavier plays Kansas State in what is a rematch of thier meeting in early December where Kansas St beat Xavier 56-71. There were 73 free throws in that game so the refs really never let the game flow, after that game this team supposedly came together according to an interview I heard earlier in the year. 25 games later this same Xavier team gets its chance at revenge on a neutral court which should be better for Xaviers style of play.

Amazingly Xavier is better then kstate in almost every aspect of the game, they are the BETTER team in FG%, FT%, defense, rebounding and better in turn over ratio.

Kansas St scores a very simular PPG at 79.7 vs. Xaviers 79.3 . That is a whole lot of advantages for a team that has plenty of Tourney experience going to the sweet 16 the last 3 years with REVENGE on thier mind. Terrible draw for Kstate as they try to move on, even worse if they think they can go out on cruz to a 15 point win again. Xavier +5 is a good play IMO.

thanks skrill!

Butler game went exactly as I thought i would, they forced Syracuse into bad shots and forced them to turn the ball over all game, Butler defense is for real!, Xavier push was unfortunate but better then a loss.

I saw them get beat by wichita st this year and I remember being amazed at the potential of this team so I have been baised towards them comming into the tourney. I didnt see them beating Kansas but who did. It grabbed me when the line came out, then I saw some nice trends FOR

Panthers are 6-0 ATS in their last 6 neutral site games.
Panthers are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 neutral site games as an underdog. (only 1.5 lol)
Panthers are 9-2 ATS in their last 11 vs. Big Ten

Spartans are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 non-conference games.
Spartans are 2-8 ATS in their last 10 games vs. a team with a winning S.U. record.

Ive seen a whole bunch of Izzo love this week and even goys on mich st. The injury to Lucas will be to much to overcome in such little time and with other injuries it doesnt look good.

N. Iowa is a BETTER defensive team and a team that will make you turn the ball over if you dont protect it. Not a good if you just lost your ball handler and leading scorer. Not to mention mentally this team just squeeked out 2 games in a row vs. Maryland and New Mex st. they have to be spent.

N. Iowa is only giving up 53 ppg last 5 games
Mich st is giving up 67

N. Iowaa is hitting 81% from the line last 5
Mich is hitting 67%

IMO people are overthinking this, N. Iowa is a VERY good team, they didnt just show up out of nowhere, so I dont think they will have a let down. They think they belong there and Im sure the people that follow them know too.

Just alot of things going for N.Iowa here I think they are the better team and will win.

up 7 at half

N.Iowa dont score a single basket the last 11 minutes of the game

an 84% and a 87% free throw shooters miss both ft's each

thats why they call it gambling , pretty weak
