NCAA Substance Abuse Testing
Does the NCAA do regular drug testing on the student athletes??

well our division three school got tested here. kind of a practice run. they wanted to see if it was needed. they were shocked with the results

I used to know several D-1A football players here at MT. To answer your question, yes the NCAA does do tests. They only look for steroids though, no weed, etc. Recreation drug screening is controlled by the coaches and athletic department.
The NCAA staff watches the players piss too, I'm talking direct eye-to-penis watching. They do not mess around.
