NCAAB - Week 1

Season: 0-0

I realize it's square to play 2 out of 3 games on opening night. I'm a sucker and here are my picks:

William & Mary +8

Lavin and his freshmen crew will probably take a little while to gel. Bill and Mary has the experience to keep this one close.

Mississippi State -17

Yes, Renardo Sidney is a knucklehead, but with him and Moultrie up front, the Bulldogs have way too much size for Eastern Kentucky. It should get ugly early for EKU, as long as Sidney doesn't punch any of his teammates until after the game is over.

Good luck everybody.

Can't believe the way Bill & Mary folded in the second of that game earlier this week. Horrible. Getting in tonight's games now before the lines move any more:

St. Josephs -3

WKU has some talent, but they're all freshman. Might be a different pick if this game was in February.

BYU +1

Should be a really good game. Even though BYU lost Jimmer, the graduation losses were more substantial for Utah St. We know for a fact that BYU has at least one starter who isn't a virgin, so I'll give them the edge.

Montana +6.5

The better team getting 6.5 points? Yes, please.

Belmont +12.5

Belmont is a very good team. Duke still sorting out roles. I love my Dukies, but I will be very surprised if it's a blowout.

Good luck everybody.
