A Nice Home Dog Today

Really like South Florida at home today against Louisville. Line has now moved to 9, and I don't think Louisville is that good.

I don't think South Florida is that good of a team either, although they do have a couple decent showings, losing in OT at Uconn two games ago.

This is more a play against Louisville, who has played exactly one road game all year, beating a bad Western Kentucky team. All the other games have been played at home in their new arena, where they have two losses. Getting blown out by Kentucky and also losing to Drexel.

This team has a lot of injuries, and is going to have to rely on a couple youngsters. They lost Buckles two games ago for six weeks, along with his 8 points and 7 boards a game. He was their leading rebounder. They will have to go small and rely on the guard play, so I will bank on them not having an exceptional shooting day which is what I think it would take for them to cover.

Gonna grab the points, think this one will be a close game. Probably will put a little bit on the ML also.

Might be greedy here, but I didn't see anything from Louisville in the first half showing they could slow South Florida down.

S. Florida +6 1/2 2nd half

Well that sucked, S. Florida loses its point guard when he is undercut with 6 minutes left in a tie game. They then fall apart against the press, go 3-8 from the line in the last 5 minutes, while Louisville goes 9 for 10 down the stretch to finally hit the number for the first time all game with 15 seconds left.

Blah, now on to watch my Wolverines get blown out by Kansas.
