NightCap's NCAA Final Four Madness!!

Hopefully the NCAA Final Four goes as well as the NIT did....these will be my final two plays of the season unless the Championship game line is something that can't be passed up.

I have been riding VCU all season long. I still don't understand how they're getting 2+ points here. I know Butler is very solid and a well deserving squad but VCU has handled the inside/outside game with precision. We all saw what happened in the first half of the Butler/Florida game. Florida pressed the ball inside and took advantage of their size advantage. This kept Matt Howard working hard and off the boards for the majority of the half. Florida, for some odd reason, abandoned that style of play in the 2nd half and allowed Howard to roam freely and be a big piece of the win. VCU has two players that are going to take away from Howard's effectiveness. Juvonte Reddic isn't a major factor in the VCU offense and doesn't play much, but when he's in the game he has taken away a lot of inside help from the opposing team. Burgess and Skeen are going to do their part to kick the ball inside as well as take the perimeter shots. I firmly believe in hot shooting and VCU has seven players shooting over 30% from the three point line. VCU is shooting nearly 50% from the three point line and only allows their opponents to shot 25%. VCU has been torching the perimeter from the beginning. They know how to work the ball around the perimeter and into the paint for the open look. Joey Rodriquez is a leader beyond words. VCU has four seniors and a few juniors that know what to do to get things done. VCU is a tournament savvy team and I fully expect the hot shooting Rams to move on. Honestly, I think VCU is your National Champ. I can't sit here and not take 2 and a half points. Props to Butler's season but all of the close games are going to catch up to them. I think VCU is still riding the disrespect card all the way to the National Championship game. The hot shooting continues.....71-66 VCU

5***Virginia Commonwealth Rams +2˝

2***Connecticut Huskies +2˝

Best of luck everyone!

Totally with you on VCU. I also took the future bet with them winning the NCAA championship at +600!

Evan: What? One name? ONE NAME!?!? Who are you? Seal?
Seth: Fogell, this ID says that you're 25 years old. Why wouldn't you just put 21, man?
Fogell: Seth, Seth, Seth. Listen up, ass-face: every day, hundreds of kids go into the liquor store with fake IDs, and every single one says they're 21. Pssh, how many 21 year olds do you think there are in this town? It's called f*cking strategy, alright?

love the VCU pick, Butler tough team but somehow lucky to be here, on the other side VCU is playing beautiflly at the exact right time, not that you are wrong with the 2.5points but id advise you to take VCU -1 at +140, gl
