Crazy night games last night capped off a good ending to the Sweet 16. For tonight, there isn't a particular game that stands out. VCU is in a similar boat as Connecticut right now, they're both hot and continue to roll. Depending on the points, I will be on VCU yet again tomorrow. I am also going to ride UCONN until they prove people wrong. In all tournament games this season Connecticut is 11-0 against the spread and they continue to play well on short rest. They are 8-2 against the spread on one day of rest this season. Duke failed to keep up on the glass against AZ and it proved to be one of their many failure points. UCONN is very efficient on offense, ranking in the top 12 in turnover % and offensive rebounding. Arizona ranks outside the top 100 in both of those categories. Duke was a guard oriented team and the Plumlees both got into early foul trouble, making life easy for the AZ bigs. It's a shame Kemba is NBA bound because UCONN's nucleus returning for next season is strong. The obvious attention will be on Kemba tonight but I think Jeremy Lamb is the guy to watch. He is very strong on the dribble drive and also hangs around the perimeter for the kick out. He is a strong shooter and has matured greatly over the past few months. Oriakhi and Coombs-McDaniel will most likely rotate on D. Williams tonight. Overall both games should be entertaining tonight! Best of luck....
